Hot Wallet

A hot wallet gets its name because it’s connected to the web, and therefore, “hot”. These wallets are less secure than cold wallets since hackers can potentially access the wallet’s assets and drain the account.

“I knew I shouldn’t have kept all of my crypto in my hot wallet! Now I got hacked and can’t get any of my tokens back.”
